Sean Gazitua has been a volunteer with the Florida Nu Chapter on and off since he graduated in 2001. He is Vice President of Sales & Marketing at WTDC, a Miami based logistics infrastructure company providing supply chain management, Foreign Trade Zone & U.S. Customs bonded warehousing, transportation management, inventory control,distribution services and fulfillment. Through his efforts, WTDC moves over $400 Million in Foreign Trade annually through Miami-Dade County. Mr. Gazitúa is the third generation of family ownership at WTDC,a business founded by his grandfather in 1977. With over 10 years experience in Operations, Mr. Gazitúa is well versed in every aspect of logistics. WTDC prepositions inventory in its Foreign Trade Zone for the international distribution of Travel Retail & Duty Free companies, Spirits manufacturers, Electronics, Industrial Generators and other high value commodities.
Mr. Gazitúa is actively involved in the business and cultural development of the South Florida community. Mr. Gazitúa currently serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni & Volunteer Corporation. The chapter counselor is responsible for coordinating volunteer support to mentor members of the undergraduate chapter. He or she provides the continuity necessary to ensure long-term chapter success. He is a member of FIU President’s Council, a group comprised of business and civic leaders who act as brand ambassadors and advocates for FIU in the community. He was selected as a member of Leadership Miami, a community development extension of the Greater Miami Chamber Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) for executives. He is a graduate of the School of International Business at Florida International University (FIU) and has completed numerous extended education certificates within the logistics industry.
In 2008 he married Emely Yanes Gazitua and they have two sons, Gavin Mateo and Logan Gabriel.
