Tom Jelke serves as a mentor and informal advisor to the AVC. Tom worked for the national fraternity as a Regional Director in 1990-1991, and has served in multiple volunteer capacities with local chapter and the national organization, including Chapter Counselor, Balanced Man Steward, District Governor, and now sits on the National Board of Directors.
Professionally, Tom is the Founder and CEO of t.jelke solutions, a consulting firm specializing in Strategic Planning, Independent Research and Data Analysis, and Program Assessment and Evaluation for Universities, Fraternal Organizations, and Nonprofits. Tom has been recognized as Advisor of the Year by four different organizations/universities, and recently was honored with the Jack L. Anson award – the highest honor given by the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors to someone not working at a university.
